Ideally suited to small claims the Fixed Fee Mediation provides the services of Mediator for a fixed fee, for a full day that covers pre-mediation preparation and mediation time on the day itself.

How the Fixed Fee-Fixed Time service works

The Process can be Face-to-Face Mediation or Online Mediation

The Mediator delivers a service at a Fixed Fee to include pre-mediation preparation and mediation time on the day itself.

What is covered?

All reasonable preparation time and the Mediators’ travel expenses to attend the mediation provided the mediation takes place within a 20km radius of the Mediators office.

What is not covered?

Costs of a venue (minimum of three rooms required).

Refreshments and other disbursements.

Excessive preparation time. If time is spent on reading documentation, reports or email, sending email and making telephone calls, obtaining collateral information or engage in substantial pre-mediation contact, the hourly rate will apply.

Travel by motor vehicle in excess of the 20km levied at R4,66 per km plus the hourly fee.
